Géraldine CHANU – Director
Géraldine is trained as a veterinarian. She joined AFCA-CIAL in 2016 as technical manager and has managed the association since 2019.
She is notably responsible for French and European relations.

Serving its members
A full-time team of 4 people: Géraldine, Claire, Cécile and Sylvie, ensure the functioning and coordination of the association on a daily basis.
Géraldine, Claire, and Cécile share out:
- Regulatory monitoring.
- Responses to technical and regulatory inquiries.
- Facilitation of working groups.
- Drafting of circulars and technical documents.
They act as liaisons with the Board of Directors, working in tandem with designated board members on all matters. Each specializes in cross-cutting issues, represents the association, and advocates for its positions in external meetings.
Sylvie manages the association’s administrative functions, production statistics, and logistics and event planning.

Claire LAURENT – Technical Manager
Claire is an agro-food engineer. She has been Technical Manager at AFCA-CIAL since 2018.
She is responsible for files on sustainability and dietetic feed.
She is also responsible for the association’s communications actions.
Cécile PICART – Technical Manager
Cécile is an agricultural engineer. She has been Technical Manager at AFCA-CIAL since 2024.
She is responsible for files related to exports and organic agriculture.
Sylvie LELAURAIN – Executive Assistance
Sylvie has been the Executive Assistant at AFCA-CIAL since 2023.
She notably manages the administrative tasks, organisation of meetings and statistical summaries of the profession.
