As a major player in the animal nutrition sector for over 80 years, AFCA-CIAL represents companies specialising in animal nutrition supplements: suppliers of additives and functional ingredients, manufacturers of premixtures, manufacturers of supplementary feed and associate members.
With over 130 member companies, AFCA-CIAL represents almost all of the industry in France.

Our missions
Our essential mission is to promote the animal nutrition supplementation sector, represent our members’ interests, and support them in addressing technical and regulatory challenges through expertise and industry monitoring.
Operating within a regulatory landscape that demands high standards regarding safety and information—for both the industry and the consumer—AFCA-CIAL plays an active role in shaping regulatory developments. We achieve this through dialogue with authorities and strong relationships forged with other trade associations in the animal nutrition sector, at both the French and European levels.
