AFCA-CIAL\u2019s role is to ensure the collective defence of companies in the supplementary feed and specialised nutrition sector as well as the animal feed additives and functional ingredients industry.<\/p>\n

AFCA-CIAL works closely with the other animal nutrition organisations: SNIA (National Union of the Animal Compound Feed Industry), La Coop\u00e9ration Agricole Nutrition Animale and the regional associations, FEEDSIM, FACCO (Federation of pet food manufacturers), QUALIMATs, TECALIMAN, OQUALIM (Association for feed safety and animal feed quality), DURALIM (French collaborative platform for the sustainable nutrition of livestock), CSNA (Scientific Council for Animal Nutrition).<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOQUALIM\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSince 2008, OQUALIM, an association created by animal nutrition professionals, coordinates the collective actions aims at improving the quality and feed safety of animal nutrition in France thanks to the implementation of pooled self-monitoring plans and the certification of animal nutrition plants, in order to guarantee compliance with Good Hygiene Practices and traceability.
\r\n
\r\nAFCA-CIAL and its members are actively involved in OQUALIM by being members of the Board of Directors, by participating in certification steering committees and by being members of the different working groups (update to the Guide of Best Practices in Animal Nutrition, STNO, STNE, Laboratories\u2026).
\r\nAFCA-CIAL also administers the \u201cSupplements\u201d pooled self-monitoring plan.

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDURALIM\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDuralim is the French collaborative platform for the sustainable nutrition of livestock. It brings together over 100 members – importers, feed manufacturers, professional organisations, distributors – around a shared project: to work on the sustainability of feed for farm animals. In 2018, a strong commitment was made to achieve 100% of sustainable supplies with an aim of non-deforestation by 2025 at the latest. AFCA-CIAL has been involved in this association since 2017.

\r\nAFCA-CIAL is a member of the Board of Directors within the \u201canimal nutrition\u201d group, an expert for the \u201cingredient suppliers\u201d group and a member of the Bureau. It coordinates the \u201cadditives, premixtures and supplements\u201d sector of the platform.
